Grillo – DOC Sicilia
Grillo is an autochthonous white grape variety which has the distinction of a much higher sugar content, in comparison to the others white grapes, and a peculiar predisposition to the ageing, unusual to find in a white wine.
At the sight it shows of a straw white colour with sage-green reflections. The nose is fresh with notes of citrus flowers, while the palate is quite savory and mineral, with a return of citrus notes combined with a pleasant freshness. Perfect with first courses of fish, mixed fried, gourmet sandwiches. Recommended along with vegetarian dishes.
